Currency/Materials

As the glue for our RPG and reward systems we will have various currencies for our players to eagerly look forward to as they regularly engage in our game.

Here are some important Currencies and Materials we will need.

1. Soft Currency: Gold

  • Purpose: Gold serves as the primary soft currency in our game. It’s abundant and used for everyday transactions.

  • Acquisition:

    • Quest Rewards: Completing quests and missions grants gold.

    • Selling Items: Players can sell unwanted equipment or materials for gold.

    • Daily Logins: Daily login bonuses include gold.

  • Uses:

    • Equipment Upgrades: Leveling up gear will consume some gold.

    • Training Champions: Leveling up champions will consume some gold

    • Expanding Inventory Capacity: As another soft currency sink it can be used to expand the maximum capacity of the player’s inventory.

    • Shop: Some items will be available for purchase using Gold.

2. Premium Currency: Jewels

  • Purpose: Jewels are the premium currency, rarer and more valuable than gold.

  • Acquisition:

    • In-App Purchases: Players can buy jewels using real money.

    • Achievements and Events: Completing special achievements or participating in limited-time events rewards jewels.

    • Daily Rewards: Some daily login bonuses include jewels.

  • Uses:

    • Summoning Champions: Jewels are used to purchase champion packs.

    • Energy Refills: Players can instantly replenish their stamina using jewels.

    • Cosmetic Items: Customization options like skins, costumes, or unique accessories available in our shop.

    • Battle Pass: Purchasing certain passes in the game may use Jewels.

Materials

1. Experience Tomes

  • Purpose: XP is essential for champion growth.

  • Acquisition:

    • League Rewards: Experience tomes can be rewarded from competing in the League.

    • Quests and Missions: Completing story quests and daily missions rewards Experience Tomes.

  • Uses:

    • Leveling Up: Consume to increase a champion’s level.

2. Essence Shards

  • Purpose: Strengthening equipment cards for better combat performance.

  • Acquisition:

    • League Rewards: Experience tomes can be rewarded from competing in the League.

    • Quests and Missions: Completing story quests and daily missions rewards .

  • Uses:

    • Equipment Cards: Levels up Equipment Cards to improve their stats.

3. Champion Shards/Unique Champion Shards

  • Purpose: Awakening champions to higher star levels.

  • Acquisition:

    • Champion Duplicates: This is the primary way to obtain, by receiving a duplicate you gain Champion Shards and Unique Champion Shards of the duplicate champion received.

    • Events: Participate in limited-time events to gain Champion Shards.

    • Story Missions: Free obtained “starter” Champions will receive Champion Shards primarily from progressing through story missions.

  • Uses:

    • Star Upgrades: Increase a champion’s star rating for improved base stats or unlock abilities.

4. Energy Potions

  • Purpose: Regain stamina for PvE missions.

  • Acquisition:

Daily Rewards: Energy potions are part of daily login bonuses.

In-Game Shops: Purchase with gold or jewels.

  • Uses:

    • Stamina Refills: Use potions to continue playing pve quests.

    • Emergency Situations: When players need extra stamina for events or challenges.

5. Tournament Coins

  • Purpose: Drive player interaction in league mode to encourage players to engage in pvp even after hitting milestones. (We want players to feel rewarded for playing pvp even if they feel they peaked in a season).

  • Acquisition:

    • Tournaments and PvP Modes: Playing matches earns tournament coins.

    • Leaderboard Rankings: Top players receive additional coins.

  • Uses:

    • Exclusive Rewards: Exchange coins for rare items, cosmetics, or limited-time offers tied to each season.

  1. Element Orbs

  • Purpose: Create milestones for character progression. Create short term goals and throttle flow of early game progression.

  • Acquisition:

    • Unique Element Orb Missions

    • Rewards from Shop

  • Uses:

    • Used to increase level cap at Gate Levels 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50.

Example: "Genshin Impact" This is showing that when Exp Tomes are consumed so is soft currency.
