PVP

The PvP game mode in our game allows players to compete against each other by strategically placing their champions on a grid to form unique formations. Battles are automated, requiring no input from the player once they begin. This mode is designed to provide engaging and competitive gameplay while allowing players to participate passively as they go about their daily activities.

PvP Mechanics

1. Team Formation

   • Players select a team of champions from their roster.

   • Each champion has unique abilities and stats that influence their performance in battle.

   • Players place their champions on a hex grid, creating strategic formations to maximize their team’s effectiveness.

   • Opponents’ positions are hidden before the match starts, adding an element of surprise and strategy.

2. Battle System

   • Once both players have set their formations, the battle begins automatically.

   • Battles play out in real-time, with champions using their abilities and attacks based on their AI behavior.

   • Players can watch the battle unfold or check the results later.

   • The outcome is determined by the champions’ stats, abilities, and the effectiveness of the formations.

3. Offline Engagement

   • PvP battles can occur while the player is offline, allowing them to engage with the game passively.

   • Players receive notifications of battle results and rewards when they log back in.

   • This system ensures continuous engagement without requiring constant active participation.

   • Notification systems can be opted into to allow players to be alerted when their team is on a lose streak or they have regained their stamina.

4. Stamina System

   • The PvP mode uses a stamina system to regulate participation.

   • Each battle consumes a certain amount of stamina, which regenerates over time.

   • Players can use premium currency or items to refill stamina if they wish to engage more frequently.

   • This system helps manage server load and encourages regular interaction with the game.

5. Rotating Battlegrounds/Arenas

   • PvP Arena's rotate out at set intervals throughout the month to keep players engaged

   • Rotating arenas will ensure players must log in to create new formations to stay competitive

   • Diversity in arenas will give an advantage to players who have a wide range of champions, encouraging investment.

Rewards and Progression

• Victory Rewards: Players earn rewards such as in-game currency, items, and experience points for winning battles.

• Ranking System: Players are ranked based on their performance in PvP battles, with higher ranks offering better rewards.

• Seasonal Events: Special PvP events and seasons provide unique challenges and exclusive rewards, keeping the gameplay fresh and exciting.

User Interface

• Formation Screen: A drag-and-drop interface allows players to easily place and rearrange their champions on the grid.
