Star Rating

Each champion can be between 1 star and 5 stars, representing their power level and potential. Let’s dive into the details:

Star Levels

  1. 1-Star Champions: Basic characters with limited abilities.

  2. 2-Star Champions: Slightly stronger than 1-star champions.

  3. 3-Star Champions: Well-rounded heroes with more abilities.

  4. 4-Star Champions: Powerful characters with unique skills.

  5. 5-Star Champions: Elite champions, significantly stronger than lower-star counterparts.

Champion Acquisition

  1. Players acquire champions through various means:

  • Summoning: Using in-game currency or resources to summon new champions.

  • Quest Rewards: Completing quests or achievements grants champions.

  • Events and Challenges: Special events offer exclusive champions.

  1. Starting Star rating is tied to ease to acquire.

    1. 1-Star Champions are through given from free promotions

    2. 2-Star are received through common gacha pulls (guaranteed every 10 pulls)

    3. 3-Star are recieved rarely through gacha pulls and are tied to schedueled timed banners. (guaranteed every 100 pulls, with a 50% chance to receive the banner else an existing 3 star champion)

Progression System

Duplicates and Currency

  1. Duplicate Champions: When players obtain duplicate champions, they don’t go to waste. Instead:

  • Duplicates are converted into Champion Shards and Unique Champion Shards (of the current champion obtained).

  • Unique Champion Shards are specific to the duplicated champion.

  • Generic Champion Shards can be used on any champion.

  • Accumulating Champion Shards unlocks upgrades.

Upgrading Star Levels

  1. Unlocking Higher Stars: Players spend Champion Shards and other soft currency to upgrade star levels:

  • 1-Star to 2-Star: Requires a specific number of Champion Shards for that champion.

  • 2-Star to 3-Star: More Champion Shards

  • 3-Star to 4-Star: Even more Champion Shards

  • 4-Star to 5-Star: The most challenging upgrade, requiring significant investment.

Benefits of Higher Stars

  1. Power Boost: Higher-star champions are significantly stronger:

  • Increased base stats (HP, ATK, DEF, etc.).

  • Improved abilities and damage output.

  1. Unlocking Passives and Skills:

  • 3-Star and above champions gain access to unique passives or skills.

  • These passives enhance gameplay, such as increased crit chance, healing over time, or bonus damage against specific enemies.

Player Experience

  • Excitement of Progression: Players eagerly collect duplicates, knowing they contribute to champion growth.

  • Strategic Choices: Should they upgrade their favorite 1-star champion or save for a rare 3-star?

Visual Satisfaction: Watching a champion evolve from 1 star to 5 stars should be visually rewarding.
